My name is Michelle Lee and I am a recently self taught artist.  After many discarded canvasses. temper tantrums, tears, surprises and then so much joy later I have now found my passion for painting.

My work is varied, and I use acrylics oils and pastels. I first started painting portraits and then tried my hand at landscapes and more recently, because of my love of animals and all the various dogs I have access to through my dog walking business I have been painting pet portraits. Some of these I have depicted wearing country outfits inspired by the country way of life in beautiful rural Rutland. I have also painted local scenes from the village of Barrowden.

More recently I have produced some more contemporary pieces such as 'It's All Gone Bananas' and 'let's Drink to the Future' combining futuristic robots in unusual settings.

I am still finding my way on my artistic journey which is why my work is so varied although I am enjoying all the different subjects that I am painting. I do hope that you have enjoy and have fun browsing my artwork too.
